underwhelming experience
small room unclean bathroom
The room felt quite small. there was barely any space for luggage or clothes. the bathroom wasn't as clean as i expected. I saw some hairs there.

cramped room rock hard sofa
the breakfast selection was adequate. it certainly filled me up before venturing out for the day.
My room, a standard double room sofa bed hot, was oddly cramped. Maneuvering around reminded me of an olympic sport. worse, the promised 'sofa bed' was rock hard. i suspect sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast included good options. parking at the hotel was convenient, though a bit pricey at £16 per day! the location worked well, offering easy access to both the town and river for pleasant walks.

the breakfast included sufficient options. i found fresh pastries and fruit juices. the room was clean. the staff was very friendly and always available at the reception desk.
the room was a bit small for two people. space was limited.
